"Hi my name is Athena Reich, and I'm a singer songwriter and music coach here in New York City. In this clip here I'm going to talk about how to promote your music show. You booked that gig, how do you get people to come? Well creating a really snazzy poster is one way to go about it. Make sure to put it up in your venue, and on poster, you know on post and in restaurants and cafes in your neighborhood. I put my website I have a description about myself, you know a picture. A snazzy picture that can go a long way. Also you can have fliers too, these are my these promote me as a music teacher, but you get the idea. You can make little postcards to promote your show. Facebook is very popular. If you create a facebook event, you can get all your friends and communicate to them about the show. Facebook, myspace, there's lots of networking opportunities. Basically posters, fliers and internet research is how you can get people to come out and see you play. This is Athena Reich in New York City."
