Well first of all you got to play an instrument, practice it and everything but once you are at that point how do you find other musicians. Well the most popular website is Craigslist. If you go to Craigslist and you click on community and musicians and you just do a search for band or whatever you are going to find countless people in your home town looking to start a band. You know think about what kind of music are you interested in. Are you open to playing gigs for free because often you got to start you know playing gigs for free before you can start making money. If you want to make money do cover band, do other people's music. If you want to do it for the art then you know, do an originals band but search around here and you'll be surprised and you'll find, you know you are going to find all kinds of people in your neighborhood looking to start a band.
