Today's world revolves around physical appearance. Aside from basic personal hygiene, some will put their personal care in the hands of a professional. Aestheticians specialize in the study of skin care, including facial treatments, body wraps, exfoliation treatments, waxing and some dermatology. They give massages to release toxins from the body, facials to brighten the face, and exfoliations to rejuvenate the skin. The treatments aestheticians provide are not only a healthy beauty regime but are also great pampering treats. In this free video on beauty, experienced cosmetologist Connie Griesheimer discusses several topics related to eyelash tinting, coloring and maintenance. Griesheimer begins by explaining how to apply eyelash extensions, why eyelashes break off, what purpose eyelashes serve and how fast eyelashes grow. She then discusses tips for plucking eyelashes, increasing eyelash growth, using an eyelash curler and applying mascara. "Are you thinking about adding eyelash extensions? I'm CG with Lips and More. And how to apply eyelash extensions. Well first of all you need to go out and you can go to a beauty salon and you can buy the supplies. You'll need to pick out eyelash extensions that are individually broken down into a pack like this. You'll get glue that does the gluing of each individual lash. And you'll need some tweezers and I always like to use a piece of aluminum foil and you'll put a little bit of the glue onto the foil. You'll take your tweezers, that's why these are used, you pick up one individually. I always like to start on the outside of the eye first. Put a dab of the glue to the end of the extension, you don't need much and then have your model or your self, close that eye completely and starting on the out, and I picked up and picked up and used the larger lashes and as close to the eyelash as possible, put that in and being careful using the end of the tweezers pressing down and have them. Make sure they keep their eyes shut for several seconds while that glue sits, just to have that hold the eyelash. And once you do that and let it sit for a moment or two before you open the eye and once you do that then you can see and adjust it accordingly. By using your finger just a little bit, just to level it up. And once you do that you should have the extension on perfectly. It takes practice as with anything, practice, practice and you can get your eyelash extensions put in at your own leisure at your own home. So this is CG with Lips and More and the greatest gift is the gift of beauty."
