"You have just received another traffic citation and you are worried what are the penalties for this traffic violation. Hello, I'm Robert Todd and I'm here to answer how to find out penalties for traffic violations. Well perhaps the easiest way is to go on the website and checkout the division of motor vehicles in your state in which you received the ticket, and check out the state statutes governing traffic violations and penalties for traffic violations and looking at what the appropriate penalty for the appropriate traffic citation is. If you're not very good with the traffic Internet site that I just referred you to, you may consider contacting the traffic court itself where you're supposed to appear if you decide to contest the traffic citation that you were issued. And they generally have charts that will set forth the list of traffic citations and what the penalties and fines are for each traffic citation. I'm Robert Todd and thank you for watching."
