"You have received a traffic court citation and you've decided you're going to go defend it yourself. Hello, I'm Robert Todd and I'm here to answer the question how to prepare your defense for traffic court. Well obviously you've already made the consideration that this ticket is worth fighting over and you've also decided that you're going to do it yourself. Well if you're going to do it yourself, you should know something about the procedure and if you don't know how to go on the Internet and check out the rules and procedures of the traffic court by going to the Division of Motor Vehicles and checking out that website, another way to do it is to go down to traffic court and take a look at an actual traffic court hearing and see what's going on. You're going to be sure that you are prepared that you know what you're going to say and how you're going to answer questions if there's a prosecutor involved and you want to make sure if you have witnesses that you know what they're going to say and that they're prepared and that at all times you're going to be polite to the judge and throughout the entire procedure to the officer issuing the traffic citation and the prosecutor. Thank you for watching, I'm Robert Todd."
