"You have just received a traffic citation and you've decided that you're going to take this to traffic court and you've never been to traffic court before. Hello, I'm Robert Todd and I'm here to answer how to find out about traffic court procedures. Obviously before you go defend yourself in traffic court, you want to have some idea of what the procedures are and perhaps one of the best places to start is the traffic court's offices where you will be appearing in traffic court. Go down, check it out, actually observe a trial or two to see what's going on. Then if you want more procedural rules and what you can do and what you can't do, go to the Internet, check out the Division of Motor Vehicles website in your state and what rules apply to traffic court in your state so you can see what's necessary about subpoenaing witnesses, cross examining witnesses, taking discovery and so forth. Thank you for watching and I'm Robert Todd."
