"My name is Anthony Maddaloni and I'm going to talk about how to photograph pets. One way in photography that you can make a pretty good living is photographing people and their pets. Pets are really important to people. Sometimes they are more important then family so being able to take really great pictures of animals is a talent. One of the first things you have to know is how do I behave around an animal. Certain animals can really sense if your nervous. You want to be very relaxed. You want to know how to deal with a pet, how to deal with a person, how to get a pet to pose. It is not a real easy thing. You need to be extremely patient and really watch the way that pet responds to the owner and the owners commands. That is one way that you can become a really good pet photographer. You also want to think about the location that you photograph pets in. It can be a park. It could be the persons house. It could be the pet, the people and the peoples kids. How does the persons dog or cat incorporate themselves in to the family. So that's one way you can make your self a better pet photographer. That is how I go about photographing pets."
