And, they're all there, just to meet you. Number six, you've only got a short amount of time with each person. So, there's no standing around, deciding what to talk about. Deciding where you should go. Deciding where you should meet. The conversation, if it doesn't flow, it's not very long. If it flows, fantastic. Again, put them down as a match. Talk to them at the end. Take the next step. Number seven, it's just good fun. Number eight, you can remain fairly anonymous. You're only meeting someone for three minutes. You've only got to give them your first name. It's not like going out on a date with them, and you have to spend all evening with them. Number nine, it cuts down the trial and error process. You meet a man, you meet a woman, you go out for a few drinks. You start seeing her, doesn't work out. You then meet another woman, you go out. You start seeing her. Take her on a few dates, it's not happening. You just don't click. At speed dating, the three minutes that you get to spend with someone, you know that, if you click straight away. Number ten, is best of all,there's no embarrassment in it. If you like someone, and they don't like you, they're never going to know that you like them. If you don't like someone, they're never going to date "you", they're never going to know that you don't like them either. Because you don't put them down.
