In the modern medical era of today, early detection of serious conditions is the key for having a good outcome. I'm here to describe the symptoms of early heart attack. My name is Doctor Savage. I'm an osteopathic family practice physician in Tampa. Now classically, the heart attack is where you have the left sided chest pain that radiates to an upper extremity or the neck. But it doesn't always happen that way. There are other symptoms that you should be aware of that could be signs of having a heart attack. Especially if you're diabetic or female. Those include having epigastric pain or radiation to the right side rather than left. Or just having palpitations or shortness of breath. If the pain radiates to the back, you actually might be concerned about aneurysms or other serious conditions.
