"Hi, I'm Veronica Baragas with mywigglesandgiggles.com, and I would like to share with you how to put a baby on a schedule. So when you first bring your baby home there can be a lot of overwhelming things. First off, you just want to be really flexible, and I guess maybe focus on their sleep times. Keep a little journal, and you know, it's going to change from time to time. It could be six o' clock one day, six-thirty another day, so having a journal would really help to keep consistent with it. It's going to take a little bit of time before you can get on the schedule, and as your baby grows it's going to change. So, being flexible is key, don't be too hard on yourself. But if you focus on the meal times - I mean, I'm sorry, if you focus on your sleep times, your meal times will follow shortly after or right before. So keeping prepped with bottles is probably really good on hand before you know, if you know your baby is going to sleep for a few hours, before they wake up, I would go ahead and get some bottles prepared and ready to go. That way it's smooth and less anxiety for you and the baby. And once you get - you know, the baby gets used to that, that consistency will kind of naturally flow into a schedule on its own. So I wouldn't pressure yourself too much, or you know if your baby is sleeping this hour, that hour, and not staying on a schedule, it's just - keep in mind that it's going to take some time, and to be flexible with it, and you know, your baby's just learning how to get on a schedule as well. So just get acquainted with him, and take your time. So that's what I would do to try to get my baby on a schedule."
