"Hi, I'm Veronica Baragas with my wigglesandgiggles.com, and I want to share with you, how to buy a safe portable crib. Now once you start looking, there are so many options. And for a portable crib, you know I would keep it pretty simple, but make sure it's safe. Definitely try to go with a reputable brand, do a little bit of research. There's many places that you can buy them, from consignment stores, to garage stales, to Craig's List, or brand new, just depending on your budget and style. Definitely if you're going from a consignment store, usually they are pretty up to date, and they've checked themselves for safety, but it wouldn't hurt to just go ahead and take it out, and just make sure the sides are well, everything locks up nice and safe, check out your pad on the bottom to make sure that there's not any holes, or anything like that, if there's mesh on the side, actually do the same for that. So just take a good look over, kind of feel for it, check on the weight, and all those good things. So if you buy it brand new, like I said, just keep it with a reputable brand, and just make sure that you keep with the safety, check for the safetyness. So, it's not too much to it, but since it's just a portable crib. That's about it. So that's what I would do in order to buy a safe portable crib."
