"For this clip, we're going to make a funny face, a sort of clown if you'd like it to be, and it's very easy. For this job you need some card and some felt-tip pens and a pair of scissors. On the piece of white card draw a big circle, but just at the top I'm doing a clown's hat. For the clown's face, great big eyes, like that. A funny round nose and a smile that goes all the way from side to side. And clowns often wear a fancy costume of ruffles around the neck. You can design it how you like. He's got some pom poms this one as well. Right. Oh! I've forgotten his ears. One ear, level with his eyes, and another ear, level with his eyes. Now, you're going to say I haven't quite finished the eyes and that's where the trick comes in. You get your scissors and level with the eyes, you need to do a slot. This is a job that a grown-up might help you with. One slot at that side of his eyes and the other slot at that side. And then you need a thin long piece of card that will go through there. Just check it will slide through and out the other side quite easily. Yes? That's good. So take it out for the moment. Look at the eyes and I'm going to start, with my sharp scissors, half way up. Get them pushed in and cut round the eye. I'm not going to cut it all the way out; I'm going to cut round there and stop, check that that opens okay. Yes. Close it up and I'm going to chop and stop on that eye. Chop and stop, chop and stop. So that will make him some beautiful eyelashes. And next eye, half way down, push through and cut round to the bottom. Back up to the other side and then on that half, chops and stops, chops and stops. If you think that's too difficult, if you don't want to do the chop and stops, it doesn't matter, you can cut all the way around. All the way around on both eyes. But that'll mean you can make him go to sleep when he wants to, when he's tired. Right, now then put the strip of card in one ear and out the other ear. There he is. His eyes still look a little bit blank. So what we need to do is to get a black felt-tip pen and draw a big center to his eye there, a big center to his eye there, and then you'll find he can look to the left, look to the right, look up, look down, and have a little wibble wobble. Hoo, you're looking at me. I know he's looking at you. I think he's looking at me, but he might be looking at you! Ha ha ha ha ha. We can finish him off with some pom poms on his hat and another little ruffle up there, and I think, every clown I've seen so far, has a big red nose. So we'll color his nose in. Color his lips, whoa! And maybe he's got a little rosy cheek up there, and a little rosy cheek up there. And that's how to make a funny clown who can watch you move and see what you're doing. Bye bye!"
