"Now in this segment we're going to learn about what the parts of the camera are, and why they're useful. First we'll start up front. This here is a teleprompting system, which has both this system down here, which is basically just a small TV screen. And it does have a control panel on the front of it here. And then it also has this slanted piece of two-sided glass, so it's kind of like if you've seen in the movies the two sided mirrors, that's pretty much exactly what it is. Then on the top here we have what's called the "tally light". The light up there lets the talent know which camera's on at which time. That let's them know so they can look at the right camera, in case, for some reason, there is a mix up. Now moving back a little farther now, we come to the lens portion of it, which is actually hidden behind the teleprompter. This is where we have our, if we're having....if we didn't have it on this high-tech tripod. This would be where you focus it and make sure your white balance is good. And then from here we come back to the body of the camera, now this is where everything is done, really. This part here makes sure that all the colors come through, all the images come through. And basically it just...that's the camera really. I mean, that's the part that makes sure everything goes through smoothly. And coming back a little further we have our view-finder. This lets the camera operator see, obviously, what's going through the camera. And also, on the bottom of our tripod we have our handles. This allows the camera operator to be able to tilt it up and down, and also pan it left and right. Now the nice thing about these tripods, is it does have a zoom control here. So that way you can control your zoom without having to reach up on to the camera and actually hit the buttons. Now to the right is zooming in, and to the left is zooming out. Then on your left-hand side handle, it has your focus control. So this helps you, obviously, to focus a shot, like we were while we were setting up our chart. You would zoom in, and focus a shot. Then from there, zoom out and set your shot. And also on these cameras, the nice thing about 'em are, like I was showing you the pan and the tilt, they do have controls for the friction on 'em. So that way if, you know, you think it's too loose, swaying back and forth, like, this here is way too loose. You want to tighten it up a bit. That way you got a little bit of friction between it. Same thing with the tilt."
