"Now in this clip we are going to be setting up our chart so we can weight balance the cameras. Now you want to take your chart and set it in between the two marks for the desk which are you probably can't see it here and here. This tells the talent where they need to be during the show. Now you are going to want to adjust it like I was telling you earlier to about the level where their faces are going to be because that is the most important part of the talent's body. Right about here is a good estimation. It doesn't have to be exact we are just doing estimations here. Now once you have it set in place you want to keep it straight on with the camera. Make sure everything is tight so that way it doesn't move around. Now with ours we have put pieces of tape on here that way the chart itself doesn't sway back and forth inside its holder. Now once you have that you want to get it as close to the desk as possible because that way it can get the most light exposure as possible. Once you have it set and make sure everything is tight on it and once it is tight you make sure it is straight ahead and then you have to turn on all your studio lights, zoom your cameras in, focus them, zoom them out and you want to have it just about that much farther out over the top of the chart. That way you can get a little bit of the background in there as well. It will help with the colors and having the cameras at the right iris levels."
