"Consistently giving presentations rate as the number one thing that most people don't want to do above dying. My name is Gloria Campbell and I am with Advantage Training Systems in St. Petersburg, Florida and how to give an effective presentation is one of those things that most people are just deathly afraid of and it's easy. Presentations really are meant to communicate information so the first thing you want to do is make sure you know what you are talking about. In a presentation write yourself notes, 3 X 5 cards are great for putting down some key ideas. The other tip that I will give you is to practice, practice, practice. The more comfortable you are with the presentation the easier it will be to give that presentation. You might also think about the receiving end. How are people going to receive the information that you are giving? Get a few friends together and maybe some family members and give them your presentation and then have them critique you. Remember giving presentations is easy and it can be fun. It consistently ranks up there as the number one thing that people hate doing but it is really one of those things that is very easy to be successful at. My name is Gloria Campbell, I'm with Advantage Training Systems in St. Petersburg, Florida and remember giving effective presentations is easy."
