"You're going to have a business meeting, and now you want to know how to lead it effectively. My name is Gloria Campbell with Advantage Training Systems in St. Petersburg, Florida, and to lead a business meeting effectively, one of the things you want to make sure you do is have an agenda. List the items that you're going to cover, and during the meeting make sure that you let people know what the agenda is. How much time it's going to take. That there will be time on the schedule for questions and answering....answers. You never want someone to leave a meeting and really wonder what was it about, and what was our purpose. Also you don't want them to leave and know what the next step is. So if you're going to have a meeting, make sure it's worth someone's time. That they know what the agenda is, what's to be accomplished, how much time they're going to be there, and what their next step is going to be. Leading meetings effectively is part of what you need to do if you're going to be a great leader. My name is Gloria Campbell with Advantage Training Systems in St. Petersburg, Florida. And always, when you leave a meeting, make sure that you know what that meeting was about."
