List the items that you're going to cover, and during the meeting make sure that you let people know what the agenda is. How much time it's going to take. That there will be time on the schedule for questions and answering....answers. You never want someone to leave a meeting and really wonder what was it about, and what was our purpose. Also you don't want them to leave and know what the next step is. So if you're going to have a meeting, make sure it's worth someone's time. That they know what the agenda is, what's to be accomplished, how much time they're going to be there, and what their next step is going to be.
