"Climbing the corporate ladder, what we all want to achieve. My name is Gloria Campbell with Advantage Training Systems located in Saint Petersburg, Florida. How do you climb the corporate ladder? Well, first of all make sure you understand what the rungs on the ladder are. Understand where your position is and have a goal in mind as to where you want to be. Make sure you know what qualifications are what skills are required. And then begin to position yourself. And I recommend from day one, have a goal in mind. If you come in as a manager and you want to move in to big manager or executive level management, make sure that you understand how do you get there. What skills are going to be required? What projects can you take on? Who's the person that you would report to? And begin to build a relationship with that department and with that person. if you're striving to be an executive level manager, where do those managers normally come from? Do they come from the sales department or the customer service department? Climbing the corporate ladder can be tricky. Just make sure you know what rung you're on and what rung you want to go to. My name is Gloria Campbell with Advantage Training Systems in Saint Petersburg, Florida."
