"Congratulations you're now the supervisor. How do you go from good to great? My name is Gloria Campbell and I'm with Advantage Training Systems in St. Petersburg, Florida. Great supervisors are what we all strive to do. And there's several things that will help you b that great supervisor. The first thing that you want to do is you want to understand your personal style. The next thing that you want to do is you want to understand the style preferred communication style of those individuals that work for you. So you may, it may take a little time. Make sure that you engage very quickly and understanding that because it's going to determine how great of a supervisor you are. You may not have given it a lot of thought to it; there are a lot of tools out there to help you do that. But communication style and management style are really one of the real keys to being a great supervisor. So remember you got that job now. You're going to be great. And one of the ways that you're going to that is make sure you understand how you communicate and how you work with people, and how people want to be worked with as well. My name is Gloria Campbell.
