"How to be a great communicator. One of those things we all strive to achieve. My name is Gloria Campbell and I'm with Advantage Training Systems in St. Petersburg, Florida. Communication. Kind of the heartbeat of what we all want to do. Great communicators share several things. Some are born but most are made. A couple of things that great communicators do is that they make sure that their message gets across. Start with good eye contact. The second thing you want to do is you want to make sure that you are speaking clear and concisely. Also make sure that people are understanding what you're saying. Great technique is to ask someone to maybe explain or did you hear what I said? How did you feel about what I said? Was there something I said, one or two things that really helped you to see how I felt? So great communicators do several things. They number one make sure that they maintain good eye contact, they speak clearly and concisely and they receive feedback from the individual that they're speaking with. Good listening skills are one of the real keys to being a great communicator. My name is Gloria Campbell. I'm with Advantage Training Systems in St. Petersburg, Florida.
