My name's Gloria Campbell with Advantage Training Systems in St. Petersburg, Florida giving you some instructions on how to announce your pregnancy at work. The first thing you want to do is make sure you pick a good time. Give some thought to how you're going to tell everyone and what you're going to say. And make sure that you tell your boss first. You don't want your boss to be the second or third person to find out. You might also want to make sure that you indicate if you're planning on returning to work. My suggestion is if you haven't made that decision make sure that you let everyone know I'm going to take some time off but I'll be back at work and I'll be my old self in no time. Announcing your pregnancy at work is one of those things that can be tricky. You don't want to send the wrong signal. You want to make sure that you do it at a good time. And you want to make sure that you let your boss know first because that will determine how well you're received and your pregnancy is received. Congratulations again.
