"Well, if you're going to learn trampoline, it's great to have one in the backyard, but I'd highly recommend going to a gym, a gymnastics gym, or a tumbling gym, where you could learn the basics from a coach. There are a lot of books out there, but this little video will help a lot. Let's start by getting on the trampoline. Be careful, and don't run and jump. Of course, once you become very adept at the trampoline, you can get on any way you like, but in the beginning, just climb on slowly, and of course, it's best to take your shoes off. Now, trampolines can be quite dangerous, so walk to the middle. Don't jump until you're in the middle. Most trampolines have a rectangle painted in the middle of the trampoline. That's the place you want to jump. On this trampoline, there's an X, directly in the middle, right here. If you can keep your bounces directly on that X, you're doing really, really well. Of course, the higher you jump, the more difficult it is to control, so in the beginning, don't jump so high. Let's talk some basic jumps. Your feet doing that, open together, open together, open together, and that's a good start."
