"Hey, my name is Addison from Captain Bells and I'm going to show you how to block a volleyball. First couple of things, you can never, ever touch the net in volleyball. You want, when you're blocking, you want to read the header shoulders so wherever his arm, his or her arm is facing, you want to try to take away where he or she hits it. The first thing is when you're blocking, I want to get down real low and wait till the last possible second to jump up to block the ball. You don't want to jump as soon as the hitter jumps because he's jumping a lot sooner than you are before your block. So what you want to do is get real low, get your hands out, and jump up in a pike position. Don't want to hit the net. So jump up in a pike position so you can penetrate over the net which will force the ball after he hits into your block, to go straight down and your team gets the point. So I'm going to demonstrate how to block. And that's how to block a volleyball."
