"O.k., today we're going to show you how to paint a ladybug on your nail. There's a couple ways that you can do this. Today I'm going to show you one where the wings are a little bit open. And it's very simple, you'll start out by making a large black circle on the nail bed. And this is going to be the body of your ladybug, o.k. You can also at this time add a half a circle on the front of your big circle, and that's going to be the head of your ladybug. Of course at this point this has to dry because you're going to paint a layer on top of that black bodice and that black bodice will run in to your red paint if you don't let that dry. So that's going to have to dry for just a moment. And today what I'm using is an acrylic paint. It's a basic paint that you can purchase at any craft store which is readily accessible to the public. So you can go ahead and pick this up yourself. And the type of brush that I find works well is a pointy small kind of craft brush that I just also picked up at the craft store. O.k., once you feel like that's good and dry and it's not going to run into the additional paint that you're adding, what you can do is you can go ahead and kind of follow the outline of what you've already started. And follow that semicircle around almost to the end. We're going to bring this up to the top and make a half a circle. Because what we want is we want that black bodice to show through. We're also going to paint the other side the same way, being sure to fill in and just really cover that black on your semicircles. And then we're going to go ahead and rinse that, get rid of that red paint, so it helps to have a little dish of water available while you're doing this. The next thing that you're going to want to do is you're going to give the ladybug some legs. So you go in and you pick up a small amount of that black paint again, and your legs don't have to be perfect, you can just kind of wing it. I like to give her a couple on the back. And then we're going to try an antenna. And those are pretty simple, just kind of like making a C. And then we're going to clean our brush off. And we're going to go in and add some eyeballs. Let's give her some character folks, because we don't want her to look like she's blind. And last but not least, the piece d' la resistance, we're going to do her dots, what makes her recognizable as a ladybug. And I like to give her about three on each side. And there you have it. That is our ladybug."
