"Hi, today I'd like to demonstrate how to file your nails properly and first you have to determine what is going to be the shape that the person would like and Michelle has them a little on the square side, and you want to start from the left to the right in short, quick strokes. And one quick, one totally across. You want to do it kind of on an angle so that you get just the under side of the nail, so it's kind of beveled in. That will keep the top part from peeling and splitting and you know, if you have to go over a little bit, don't use too rough of a file, this is a four way file, this here has a much rougher grit used mainly for artificial nails. Then you get a little bit less abrasive. Smoother and smoother. And depending on what - how much filing you need to do, would determine on which side you need. I'm using the smoothest side of the four way file, and that's how you shape them properly."
