"Today we're going to talk about how to select a polish color, and that's a lot of times is based on your preference. If you're goin' out and you have an outfit you're going to wear, you want to match. It can be your skin tone; if you take Shell here, her skin tone, and you put different colors next to it you can basically see there are certain colors that are going to stick out. But, a lot of it's preference, and, like I said, if you, depending on what you're going to be wearing or what you're going to be doing, you could always take swatches and place 'em up next to your skin and see what you feel looks the best. When you go to determine what color you'd like to wear, you can go up based on skin tone - as you see, we both have two different color skin tones; she is more of a warm, and I'm more of a cool. And you have different colors as far as polishes. You've got a true red, a blue red, more of an orange red, and based on your skin tone, see what looks best against that color."
