How to Sell Baseball Cards in Dallas

"Hi, my name is Walt Case. I own Card Traders of Austin in Austin, Texas. We sell a variety of sports cards and sports memorabilia. The question that has been posed today is "How do I sell baseball cards in Dallas, Texas?" As with any city, there are a number of card shops within that city. Many of those shops will buy your cards if it's something that they need, just as I do in my shop. I get calls all the time, people trying to sell cards. And the main question is, how sellable is that card. From a business owners standpoint, that is the critical issue. It doesn't matter what the price guide says the card is worth, how sellable is the card determines if I'm willing to buy it. I'm sure the same thing is true in Dallas. My recommendation would be to take a look in the Yellow Pages, take a look on line, see how many sports card shops are available to you in the Dallas area, and just simply go visit your local card shop with your collection, and say "Would you be interested in buying any of my cards?" Don't be surprised if the prices that they offer you are lower than you might expect, because remember, that person is in business, they need to make a profit. So please feel free to look in your Yellow Pages, look on line and visit your local card shop in the Dallas area to sell your cards."
