"My name is Walt Case, I own Card Traders of Austin in Austin, Texas. We sell a variety of sports cards and sports memorabilia and we also sell some gaming cards including Pokemon. One of the questions that is frequently asked is how do I sell my Pokemon cards? Unfortunately the demand for Pokemon cards has hit a pretty big time low right now from its peak back in the late 1990's. Selling Pokemon cards is a very difficult proposition because they don't have much saleability since there is not much demand for Pokemon cards, its very difficult for shop owners to buy them because they don't have any customers looking for them. My recommendation for your Pokemon cards is sell them to your friends, trade them with your friends, possibly put them on craigslist, maybe put them in a garage sale. But the demand for Pokemon cards now is such that selling is very, very difficult situation. The other thing you might want to do if they're not taking up too much space is just hold on to them and hope someday they make a rebound and you might be able to recover some of the costs of those cards."
