"So you have just completed school and you are looking to become a diplomat. Now most of us know that the most important decision making areas is salaries and benefits. Hi my name is Jena Hartman, owner of Promozone Live, an employment agency here in Florida. People know that when they are looking to get into a career field, any career field that is, salaries and benefits are at the top list of the questions. How much am I going to make and what coverage and medical benefits am I going to have? I'm going to give you a few tips today for you to do some research, continual research that you can find your salaries and benefit information. First off you want to go to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Their website is bls.gov. On there they can give you all the ins and outs of the salary ranges and benefits for your geographical area because remember depending on where you are located depends on how much you are going to make, the range of salary that you are going to make. Now for your benefits you want to possibly also contact a local office so you can ask individuals and kind of get a feel for what it is that they do as well as how much their salary is and what kind of benefits they get, just in general it doesn't have to be very personal because some people are a little funny about giving out personal information. So good luck. Get out there, do some research, keep doing your research and salaries and benefits should be at the top of your list on questions when getting into the diplomat career field. Again my name is Jena Hartman, owner of Promozone Live and good luck."
