"Hi I'm Kim from Simply Beautiful in Austin, Texas. Let's talk a little bit about how to disguise a zit, a blemish. Blemishes are in general a result of blocked pores. There is dirt and debris on the surface and oil comes up and creates a blemish. You want to try to avoid that by getting your sleep, washing your face a couple of times a day and doing some exfoliation. Exfoliation will help with the dead skin and the get the blockage removed from the skin. Irma has beautiful skin and she just has one little tiny blemish that we are going to just work on today. The first thing I ask you to do is really just clean your hands. I have a disinfectant wipe right here because I want you to be able to use your fingers with this. So we don't want to spread certain, certain disease, excuse me, you don't want to spread bacteria. I think that using your fingertip is the most effective way so we are going to just use a little on our ring finger, pat it on, you'll see when you have enough, use another finger just to dab it, blur the edges, dab it a little bit more because you still have more on your ring finger, and it is a little bit lighter than her skin tone which is a good thing. You want to go with a blush or a concealer that is a little bit lighter than your skin tone and then take the powder that matches your skin tone and on a flat brush or any kind of brush, you can actually even use a Q-tip or a cotton ball, just go over it, tap, tap, tap. So now what we have done is reduced the red and the swelling to match your skin. So let's go ahead and do a little brush and so now Irma's blemish has been disguised."
