"Hi, I'm Kim Haertl with Something Beautiful in Austin Texas. I'm going to teach you how to do beautiful makeup in five minutes. This is Sara, beautiful girl, and were going to start with just a little foundation on, but I want to just kind of show you a technique; with foundation. I like using a brush. I'm going to just dab is on as if these were your fingers. Using your cosmetic wedge, you just want to blend it out. Most people don’t' need foundation all the way to the corner of their face, but get into this area, your nose, your forehead, your cheeks, and then just blend it down. Foundation is a great place to start because you get this blank canvas to work on. You want to look pale when you are finished with your foundation and your conseeler. Once you are complete with your foundation, go around your eyes, and just bring your eyes forward with a little conseeler. If you have dark circles you just want to pat the conseeler on to the dark circles, and up into the corner of your eyes. This will brighten up your eyes all together. Sara's one of the lucky ones, not too much in the way of dark circles. If you have any blemishes, now is the time to cover them. Use your brush or your finger; go ahead and take care of that. Next, we are going to do some eye shadow. Keep it simple. You have five minutes. Next in five minutes, I'm going to use shimmering gold peach color like that, just going to swish it with a big fluffy brush, in the corner of the eye, and out. Just keep this simple because you only have five minutes to get this done, and make you look beautiful. Now going over with a pencil liner, and choosing dark brown liner because it is going to bring out Sara's natural tone. Using short, short, sweeping motions this along the laugh line. The motion is this. As if, you are making dots and dashes; then connecting them. Same thing down at the bottom. Remember no pulling your eyes or drawing a straight line because you are going to get a harsh look... And if you pull your eyes; your eyes are like pulling a piece of elastic underwear. It wares out. Therefore, you can only do a little at a time. Were gong to just separate her lashes before the mascara. Grab your mascara. We are using the thickening, lengthening mascara in this case because Sara has amazing lashes. Just sweep it down on the top to get the tips. Bring it up, you can move it back and forth a little bit in a motion you will keep them from clumping. I'm going to just touch it up n the bottom just a little bit. And there we have a beautiful eye. Next, we want to use a blush. I'm going to choose a blush that really gives her some color, without making it too much. I'm using the flat head brush because I love the width of control it gives me. So just tap it in the blush, shake it off a little bit so you don't get it on your cloths. Start in the apple of the cheek, blend it up, blend it down, cheeks, and chin. So there you have a beautiful complexion. Lipstick is your choice, were going to just go with With one color of lipstick. You can go with a liner if you like, but we need to keep this under five minutes, so we are going to use just one color. I'm going with a bronze color here because it's going beautifully with the color we put on her eyes. If you don't have a brush just use the tube, just blend it out so it looks really natural and full on your lips. Now a little trick with your mouth, that is it. Now look how beautiful she looks in five minutes or less. That's makeup in five minutes or les."
