"Hi I'm Kim Haertl with Simply Beautiful in Austin, Texas. We are going to talk a little bit about how to conceal freckles. Before we begin I am going to say to you that I think freckles are beautiful and to work so hard to cover them is going to give you a little bit more of a fuller coverage than maybe you don't really need so think twice about covering your freckles. What we are going to do is we are going to begin with a little concealer and then go to some foundation and cover the whole thing with powder. It is going to give you a really full matte coverage. Sara has some freckles, a beautiful girl, but Sara in general wears very little makeup because her skin care is so good. So I am going to use a little concealer and on the areas that you feel are a little bit more freckly I don't want you using concealer everywhere. This concealer is just a little bit lighter than your skin tone and don't worry it can be blotchy at this point because we are going to go back over this with a foundation and blend some of this. You just want to lighten it a little bit, there you go. Now to get a really good coverage with foundation I use a foundation brush. They're new, it is just the greatest invention since the wheel in cosmetics. Thank you. If you have too much on your brush just wipe a little bit off on your fingers and you get a lot more control. What we are looking for when covering freckles, what you're looking for, I know is a blank canvas with which to put the rest of your makeup on. You just want to conceal those freckles. That is the purpose all the time when we put foundation on, we want a blank canvas. So just no color, no, we're just going to focus on this side, I know I started over there. You are going to use a cosmetic wedge just to blend everything together and to set it. So as you can see I am using more foundation than I would ordinarily. Now I have done this and I am going to go back with some concealer any areas that I think need additional coverage. Then again I am using a concealer brush, very nice. This foundation is a good match for Sara's skin. It is a little bit lighter and I think that is a great way to just bring up the skin tone but I am using a powder that matches her skin really well. I am going to pat it on, put on the brush pretty full, nice full brush, great powder brush, tap it off and pat it on. Just do the powder all over so it is applied on both sides. So that is how you cover freckles for really full coverage and give you a blank canvas on which to put the rest of your foundation. The caution I think most women look beautiful without so much foundation."
