How to Set Up AOL Instant Messenger

"Hi I'm Tod Amazeen and I have been an internet business consultant for 15 years. I am going to show you how to set up AOL instant messenger. Once you have opened your web browser enter the url for the AOL instant messenger which is aim.com and hit enter. Click on install now and when prompted click on save file. Open the file that you have just downloaded and now we are going to go through the installation process. Agree to the terms and conditions by clicking on I agree and select an installation option. I typically select the custom installation option so that I can remove these three options which I don't need and now we are going to click on next. We will wait for AIM to install. AIM is going to prompt you if you want to install AIM tunes or QQ games, simply click on one of those or either of those boxes, click on next and now we are going to click on launch. Once AIM launches either enter in the screen name you already have as well as the password and click on sign in. If you don't have a screen name click on get a screen name. Your browser will open and you will be taken to a web page where you can create an account. Click on continue, enter in your desired screen name and password, retype your password and then enter a display name. Choose a security question with the answer. It will ask you to retype the answer and then you can enter an alternate e-mail address. This will help if you happen to lose your password from AIM. Enter your birth date, your gender, your country, your zip code and then you are going to have to do the code confirmation by typing in the letters and numbers you see in the image. Once you are done click on submit, go back to AIM enter your screen name and your password that you just created and sign in. You just learned how to set up AOL instant messenger. I'm Tod Amazeen."
