"My name is Gabriela Garzon and I work with G.G. Image & Etiquette Consulting in Miami, Florida. In this clip, we will be talking about business etiquette when traveling to Europe. the first thing that we have to know is that Europe has, you have to recognize the uniqueness of each country and the residence. You cannot generalize; you cannot lump them together. You have Spaniards, Italians, Irish, so on and so on. So, it's very important that you at least get some knowledge, read something, about the countries that you're going to because they all have unique histories. When something happens that you don't know how to act or how to react to something or what to say, just go ahead and ask someone. They will be very helpful because they will see that you are trying to assimilate to their culture. Also, you should not judge other people's political system or social system. Yes, it may be different to ours, but it is their system. You don't judge them. Unless you are being asked to give some expert advice about it or it is your job, otherwise you do not get into that type of things. You of course have to avoid controversial issues and of course avoid anything that has to do with religion. Europe is a very complicated place when it comes to religion. So remember, just use all of your good manners and be polite. All you can be and everything that you learn with all these clips. Again, this is Gabriela Garzon at G.G. Image & Etiquette Consulting."
