"My name is Gabriela Garzon and I work with G.G. Image & Etiquette Consulting in Miami, Florida. In this clip we're going to talk about how to set a formal dinner table. So if you take a look at this diagram that I have on the table. We can see that basically you're going to have your forks to your left. And the knives to your right. The whole idea is that you're going to begin your dinner. And of course, the setting of the table, from the inside to the outside. This is the salad fork with with the salad knife. Then this is your soup. When you see the spoon that's on top and the fork on top. This is made for dessert. Remember either formal or not formal, your bread plate. It's always going to be over your forks. So do not steal other people's plate. Now when you see all these glasses for formal dinning setting. You're going to see that the first one, which is the smallest one. Is for Sherry or Port. The tall one is for red wine, in front of it, it's for white wine. And then you have the water glass. And in any case, sometimes they use Champagne flutes. This is the easiest way to set a formal table. If it's not that formal. You're just going to go ahead and take out some of the things that you will be not using. Such as, the spoon for soup or the fork for dessert. Again, this is Gabriela Garzon at G.G. Image & Etiquette Consulting."
