"My name is Gabriela Garzon and I work with G.G. Image & Etiquette Consulting in Miami, Florida. In this clip I'm going to show you how to use proper table etiquette. Basically when you approach the table, when you're going to sit on your chair, you approach the chair to the left side of your body which is the right right side of the chair. You sit down and you do all you have to do in the table. When you have to leave, you're suppose to leave the table from the same side that you sat on the table, to begin with, which is the right side. Now, when we enter a restaurant and we do what I just explained, you sit on this side, we're suppose to remain calm and show confident. Do not start touching your forks and your knives and start moving the glasses. Just go ahead and stay calm, you can either put your hands on your legs or just keep your hands just like this when you're talking to somebody else. The other thing that we have to remember is that, when we arrive at the table, you're not supposed to put personal items; such as you cellphone, you don't put them on your, on top of the table; you don't put your purse; you don't place your purse on the top of the table. The, you should never put personal items on the top of the table. If you cannot find a place to where to put them, just go ahead and place them in your laps. So just remember, keep your hands on the table, do not play with anything on the table and you'll have perfect table manners and etiquette. This is Gabriela Garzon at G.G. Image& Etiquette Consulting."
