"Hi, I'm Kelli. I'm an aesthetician and makeup artist at Ulta Salon and Cosmetics. And I'm going to talk to you today about the ingredients in Bare Minerals makeup. The first ingredient in it is titanium dioxide; it's a naturally occurring sunscreen. It's one of the 21 FDA regulated and approved sunscreens. Zinc Oxide is the other ingredient in there that also helps give its SPF factor. Bare Minerals does have an SPF of 15. One of the other ingredients in there is Mica; it's actually a crystallized mineral. Basically what Mica does is it gives a light reflecting property to the mineral makeup. So it helps to smooth the look of the skin, helps to reflect light away from imperfections and give you an all, all over more even look and luminosity. The next two ingredients in the mineral makeup is Bismuth OxyCloride and Iron Oxides. Those are ingredients that basically give the makeup it's pigment. So they have a wide variety in range of different colors. But that's basically what gives the makeup its pigment. The Bare Minerals is only made out of five ingredients. It's 100% pure and natural mineral makeup, just made from those five crushed minerals. So those are the ingredients in Bare Minerals mineral makeup."
