How to Keep Your Summer Eye Makeup Fresh

"Okay. Hi, today is a great day for you to learn some new makeup tips, so my name is Sylvia Russell and I'm going to show you how to keep your summer makeup fresh. Now in the summer, depending on where you are, the heat can be very drool, grueling. So you want to make sure that you're able to keep your makeup fresh all day long. First thing you want to remember, is you don't want to use a whole lot of foundation on the face. Keep it soft and light. Use a liquid and not a creamy makeup. Liquid is more water, and less oil. So this way it will stay put and it won't melt down through out the day. Also, maybe try a nice shimmery cream. And just use a wash of color on the face, and not a whole lot of color. You can also do this by using shimmer powders. Shimmer powders are a great way to keep your face nice and shiny, without oil shine. There's a big difference. Now, when you're using this, make sure that whatever you choose is not heavy in color. I'm going to use a nice little shimmer on my model here, and as you can see I'm going right over what she currently had, just to create a nice shimmer wash that will reflect the sun very well and it will give her eye a nice pop. Being that this is a cream, you can open for me, perfect, being that it is a cream, it will help set very well, and because it's not a oil base, but it will give the eye a nice shimmer look and it'll give her a nice soft look so that she's not melting throughout the day. She won't have to reapply. She can basically take her finger, and maybe just wash it over the eye throughout the day, like so. The natural oils in your body will help to create a nice shine and a nice emoliency so that you can just kind of move around what you have on your skin without reapplying. You can also take a paper napkin, like so, and if you begin to sweat or oil up through the day, just blot. This way we're not removing anything, but we're just getting rid of excess oil. Remember, you want to look beautiful during your summer months. You want to look fresh and clean, so do these tips to help you keep your look looking really great.
