This is something that you'll want to jot down and you want to read the back of your labels the next time you go shopping for makeup. My name is Sylvia Russell. Now we have our model here, and like yourself she loves to wear makeup. So we are going to give you a few tips on how to buy makeup and make sure that it's non toxic. Now when I say non toxic what do I mean. We mean makeup that won't irritate the skin, that won't cause you to breakout. Maybe this will be makeup that is mineral, oil free. Also make sure your products are non, have no animal in them, animal fats. Believe it or not, a lot of cosmetic companies use animal fat in your makeup. These can be toxic to the skin. One good rule is always read your labels. Making sure that there is no animal by products or mineral oil in your makeup. Mineral oil is made from crude oil. That's right, the stuff we put in our gasoline. They break it down and refine it and they use it in just about every household product there is. From your lotions to your soaps to your skincare. So make sure you read your label. If you don't want non toxic, if you don't want toxic products in your makeup cabinet, you'll want to read your labels. Also mineral makeup is not considered or used or made from crude oil. So this is ok. Mineral makeup is from natural minerals from the earth. Remember we want makeup that is non toxic that won't irritate the skin, and that is hypo allergenic. Meaning it's good for sensitive skin.
