"Hi, you're just in time to get great makeup tips. My name is Sylvia Russell and I'm going to show you how to apply makeup to get a natural look. Now, when we say natural, we mean not a lot of makeup, something that is very soft and very easy to do at home. Doing natural makeup, for some people is very hard because they don't know how to apply it soft enough to give them that natural look. If you're going to use foundation, apply it very softly and not a whole lot. Maybe just a dab or two, just to even out any imperfections on the skin that you may have. Foundation is not always needed over the entire face, so make sure that you only apply it in the areas that you need. Once you do that, you can go over it lightly with just a little bit of powder. As you can see on our model here, we did a very soft eye. We did a very sheer shadow, not a whole lot of color. We also enhanced her brows a little bit, just to kind of shape her face. We did a very soft blush on the cheek and we did a beautiful, neutral lip, something very close to her natural lip color. All of these things help to create a natural look. This is great for day, or work makeup. Remember, creating a natural look is something that is very easy. There aren't many steps.
