"Hi. You arrived just in time. I'm getting my model ready for her next photo shoot, so we're going to show you how to apply makeup for a photographer. Now there are several things you need to keep in mind. Photography makeup is way different than your regular makeup. It's not your every day thing, so these tips are something you may want to jot down. Now as you can see, I've already started my makeup here, and so I've already done the first layer of makeup. Now, makeup for photography will be done in layers because you have so much light in the room that all the light is going to actually erase the makeup off of her face, so you want to make sure and apply heavy. Now, always lighten under the eyes, and around the entire eye because we want the eyes to be bright and sparkly. So I'm using a lighter concealer around the eye. Also, you want to make the, they're, the light is actually going to hit certain areas of the face so there are some areas of the face that you want to enhance. Maybe enhance the bridge of her nose. Also, maybe the top of her forehead, as well as her chin area. These are areas that the light will hit first, so we want to actually soften them with foundation so that they, when they are hit, that they look very nice. You're going to blend these items in, like so and then apply a powder. Now remember, makeup for photography is done in layers. So once you apply your first layer, powder it down and go back and apply another layer. Now remember, I know it's something that you can do. This is going to be a "trial and error" for you. Work with a photographer that has patience so that you can create a beautiful face for makeup. My name is Sylvia Russell and this is how you can do makeup for a photographer."
