"I'm a junkie- for heat that is. One of my favorite heated friends would be the curling iron. I'm Laura Gibson, beauty expert and I'm here to show you hair styles using the curling iron. One of the great things about a curling iron is the heat. The heat allows you to manipulate the hair to do anything you want leaving it silky smooth with a nice finished look. Here we have Carrie who has a little bit of texture wave, no real pattern to it, so to spice up her hair, let's go ahead and add some curls. You can make soft curls, you can make tight curls, its basically whatever you want to do. So we're going to go ahead twirl it up for our curl, let the heat do its magic because its a beautiful thing. And let go. There you have it. Now if you want to go ahead and play with it a little bit, brush it out, you can have more of the soft curl look.
