We are down to the next point where we are going to build and install our railing. This is a critical point that you need to get things correct and I'll explain as I go over and build the railings themselves but the posts have been bolted on very securely with carriage bolts and washers and nuts. We had a little bit of a problem with these posts not being level. They were off a half to an inch so you have to have them all level, that is the reason you get your level and make sure everything is plumb and square and the way it should be. We also have blocking that we put in between the stringers in certain points of the steps to keep it from racking back and forth so we are ready to install this railing and we'll go ahead and make it now. You have your spindles in there usually flat on one end for the railing everything goes at a slant to go down the stairs so usually it is at 32 and 1/2 degrees on your saw where it sits right into the miter and I can line up three of them in a row on mine and you just start off once and shift them down to make sure they are nice and even. You mark down 32 inches because that is what these spindles are, some of them are 36. Again make sure they are lined up. Get your mark on. So for my six fitters I have ten spindles here.
