"I'm Gavin from Gregg's Cycle in Seattle, Washington. And I'm just going to basically run down with you the best way to buy a bike rack for your car. There are three types of basic bike racks. You have your trunk mounted, you have hitch mounted and then you have stuff for your roof. So the question to ask, you have to ask yourself is A. what kind of car do you have or truck, do you have a hitch and if not then that definitely rules out the hitch option. But as a general rule of thumb, your trunk mounted ones are most cost effective. You are not going to find anything too pricey and it's definitely going to fit the budget. However they're not as secure safety wise. They can get stolen very easily. So that's why sometimes I like to suggest the roof fix, if you can afford them if they fit your car they are totally secure, nobody is going to steal them and they have a lot of neat features that anybody can get a bike up on the top of the car even for women out there it is very easy. I have total confidence that you can get your bike on top of your car safely. And also don't forget to actually have a professional check out your car and actually fit the bike rack for you. There's so many different fit options for roof racks, trunk racks, hitch options that you need to make sure that you get the right one to actually fit your car and be safe to carry your bicycles. I'm Gavin from Gregg's Cycles in Seattle Washington and that is how you choose a proper rack for your car."
