"Boy, what better way to see our lovely country than to ride your bike across it? I'm Moochi from Gregg's in Seattle and we're going to talk about how to ride across the USA. First things first, you need to get your bike outfitted. There's two ways to carry your luggage. You can either do a rack or you can do a trailer. Most people do racks and you can fit them on the back of the bike and on the front to carry all your luggage and your bags. As you're outfitting your bike, think about how you want to get around. Do you want to be camping? Do you want to be staying at hotels? If your camping, chances are you're going to need to carry more luggage so that you can fit your tent, sleeping bag poles, all that on a bike. If you're staying at a hotel, you'll probably just need a back rack for clothing, maybe food, and of course tools, a spare tube, first aide, anything else you might need out there on the road. Once your bike is good to go, it's time to thing about where you want to go, what you want to see. In other words, it's time to plan your route. So, look at a map, talk to people, maybe jump on the Internet Google bike touring across the US and get an idea for the places you want to see, the roads you want to go, and the where you're going to stay. If you camping, chances are you want to plan a route that includes lots of campgrounds along the way, whereas if you're staying at a hotel, you'll probably just wind up going city to city. Once you get your bike set up and your route planned, it's time to get out there and have fun. I'm Moochi from Gregg's Greenlake and these have been tips on how to ride across the US."
