"Hello, my name is Eric White. And today we're going to talk about how to set a password on your wireless network. Now everybody has different brands of routers. So the very first step is to go to the manufacturer of your, of your router, go to their website and download the user guide. Now I did this for a Linksys, this duel-band A B router. Open this up, it's a PDF document. And I just went to the page where the security settings are. Now it's not really called a password, it's called a pass-phrase. And what you so is you go into the wireless settings for the router. And then you're going to find a section for WEP or preshared key. And WEP is easier because you can just put the key in and then you give the key to whoever wants to connect to your wireless network. And they sync up and then your securities in place. The better method is a preshared key where you distribute a key to your users. It's encrypted; the user doesn't know what the key is. They link up together and then they're allowed to access your network. So find the guide. Look up the section on pass-phrase and set it up."
