Video Transcript

"Hello, my name is Eric White and today we're going to talk about how to put a picture in your AIM icon. So first things first, fire up your AIM. Once you get it up, you want to go to edit then down to settings. Got some tabs on the left here, scroll all the way on down to Expressions, just past the middle and then the very first expression is your buddy icon. So what you want to do is browse, and I have mine in my avatars folder. So I'm going to go ahead and pick my picture here, and then click open. It's going to give you a little message warning you about copyright materials and what not. Go ahead and hit okay. And it uploads the picture and now the picture that I have on my buddy icon is right here. All I have to do is hit save and now when people see me, they'll see this picture. You could alternatively use a picture of yourself. The thing to remember is that the picture can be no larger then sixty-four by sixty-four pixels, and the file size could be no larger than seven kilobytes. That's all there is to putting a picture in your AIM icon."
