"You just got pulled over and you got a speeding ticket. Now you are thinking how does this affect my insurance? My name is James with the Resurgence Group. We're a full service insurance agency and we specialize in auto insurance. Yes your premiums are going up. But now you want to know just how much. Well it depends on a few factors. The biggest thing is how much were you going over that limit and you need to call your agent and your insurance company and have that information in hand because they can tell you that if it is a few miles over it is going to cost you this much and if it's a few more miles it is going to cost you that much. Of course the more miles over the more it is going to cost you. Of course we wish that insurance wasn't based on our actions but it truly is and you need to be driving within the limits so that you don't get into these accidents or get these speeding tickets and get those points against your license. The one thing that we strongly suggest is that when you have an accident or you have a speeding ticket take that driver's safety class because that will reduce the amounts of points on your license and it could be your premiums won't go up so give that some serious thought. It does take some time but if you can save some premiums by a weekend course it is well worth it. My name is James with The Resurgence Group and what we want to do for you is just save you as much money as possible so speak with your agent or call the company and if you get in an accident where you have a speeding ticket, take the driver's safety course."
