"Hey Rokosz, your digital lifestyle expert here, telling you how to get the best possible picture quality out of your LCD TV. Well, one of the best ways to do it is to make sure that the monitor or TV itself is set up for the very best. It's being all it can be. Right now in this particular unit we're into the setup assistant, all right. And a lot of them are going to have that so you're not choosing things that you're unfamiliar with. In this particular case here the assistant is going to move us through the different stages and give us some choices. Right now, you're going to see here that it says left side and right side and we're trying to decide which one has a better picture at least as far as our eyes are concerned. Now you could probably see some differences on yours, and then you just simply choose which one is the best one for you. And those are internal type of things there. Another thing to do is to make sure that you're using the very best possible connectors, wires of some quality. The free ones that come with it if they do are not always the best quality. Now you don't have to spend three-hundred dollars on connectors, but you do want to hook things up composite or component rather with the RGB, the red, blue and green or HDMI if it's available. Also maximizing your picture there means maximizing what's going in. They say this but what would you eat, garbage in, garbage out. If you're putting a VHS player on your LCD TV, you're not going to get the best quality, you know, the best quality out of it as you would with let's say, I don't know, a blue ray. An old Nintendo sixty-four is not going to have as good a picture as let's say a Wii, all right, so keep in mind what kind of input settings you're dealing with. So recap, calibrate your TV using its - either its manuals, get them online or the startup, or performance assistant built into the unit, use good quality wires, use HDMI or RGB and put in a good signal. I'm Rokosz, your digital lifestyle expert saying stream you later."
