"Did you know that acne is not caused by eating chocolate? It is caused by fluctuating hormones in your body and can happen anywhere from being a child all the way up to an adult. Hi I'm Lauren Roy from Sugar Hollow Farm in Phillipston, Massachusetts and I'm going to demonstrate how to make a couple of homemade products that can help you with your acne. The first thing you need to know is that you need to drink plenty of water and try to reduce stress because that does play a part in acne. But if you do find that you have acne you can do a couple of different things. You can drink garlic tea which is an antibacterial and can help pull those toxins out. You can also take a clove of garlic and some rosemary and put them in a bowl and steam your face with boiling water. Cover your head with a towel and let the steam open up your pores for about 10 or 15 minutes. Once you do that you can make a mask with an egg yolk, just separate the egg yolk from the white, beat it a little bit with a fork and apply it to your face. Let it sit and dry for about 15 minutes. Once it is dry you can rinse it off with cool water. You can follow that up with a nice astringent made with some apple cider vinegar. If you don't want to use fresh rosemary, if you don't have rosemary you can buy some rosemary essential oil as well and just put a couple of drops of that into your bowl. So that is how you can take care of your acne in your kitchen by yourself. This has been Lauren Roy from Sugar Hollow Farm in Phillipston, Massachusetts."
