"Did you know that green teabags, chamomile teabags, and even catnip teabags make great eye masks? I'm Lauren Roy from Sugar Hollow Farm in Phillipston, Mass. And I'm going to show you how you can use teabags to reduce the puffiness and redness around your eyes. We've all had those nights where we've been up a little too late and the next morning we'd get up and our eyes are all puffy. Here's a way that you can help reduce that puffiness, you can take two teabags of any flavor and wet them and stick them in the freezer. After about five minutes they're cold enough that you can take them out and just apply it to your eye and lay down and relax for about ten or fifteen minutes. The reason why the tea works is there's antioxidant properties in tea, especially in green teabags and the coldness helps reduce the swelling. Realistically if you wanted to use this everyday you'd have to lay there all day long with a teabag on your eye, but if you wanted just a quick fix you can just lay there for about fifteen minutes, do some deep breathing and relax, because really, it's the relaxation that reduces the stress, and makes us look rested and wonderful. So you can also use chamomile teabags because they have a relaxating quality themselves, and you can just do the same thing, rinse them in water, put them in the freezer and lay them down on your eyes. The same thing with the catnip teabags. This is Lauren Roy for Sugar Hollow Farm in Phillipston, Mass."
